Then he discovered his ear lobe. Suffice it to say that Merlin got LOTS of attention, last night and loves his uncle.

Merlin's eyes are absolutely fully open and they melt your heart when he looks at you. He's getting better at grooming. I'm working in a slurry for at least one meal and he's had his first very tiny taste of a Churu treat. His bumble is getting so much more confident.

I managed to wake up reasonably close to all of the feeding times so things are looking up. I even braved the 39 degree morning air to feed the outdoor fur babies, although I should have put on a jacket.

And almost best of all, we got my riding mower started, last night! It was the battery. A little time on a new charger and it cranked right up. Not good news for any outdoor fur babies. They will scatter.

I hate to have to put Merlin down, but I am hungry, this morning. That's a rarity.
