no one knew why until they figured out that the cat food did not contain taurine. Once they added it the problem went away. Of course you have to ask how horribly processed that meat based food was in the first place.

It also, for me anyway, called into question the absolute reliance on the ‘medical model’ of health care, relying to this day on pharmaceuticals to treat symptoms rather than looking to find the source of the problem and treating that. The 2 approaches can coexist. Money and power stop that from occurring.
