I lost my dearest baby to an acute onset of diabetes. He'd just been to the vets for a checkup the week before and everything seemed ok. You're right... life happens. Keeping you both in my thoughts. I'm curled up right now with my "nurse" cat. I took a bad fall... Actually faceplanted this evening. Think I cracked my elbow. Bootsy hasn't left my side since it happened. I hope Willow and you will have years to comfort each other. May Bast lay her healing paws on Willow and lead her through this. Bootsy and I are pulling for you.
