Carys does keep surprising me. And foiling me. [View all]

Last night she was at the end of the bed so I stretched out to see if she was in the mood for scritches. Was she ever! She ended up draping herself across me for the longest time, yet. Then the purring started. She was all for as much attention as I would give her, which was so wonderful.

Since contact with her is rare, I have to give her oral medication for fleas so this morning I ground up a pill and put it in her food. Normally she quickly cleans her bowl, even with the pill, and moves on to try and steal food from her siblings. I guess I chose the wrong food, this morning. She ate some and then moved on. Maybe the flavor wasn't strong enough to mask the medicine. Thus, the foiled part.

I eventually got her to eat most of it and will mix what's left with some tuna.
