And two is better than one, believe me. They will always have one of their own kind around for comfort.

Not sure about the insurance. I think it's kind of like people insurance in that it may not cover anything preexisting. I do recommend, though. I have a co-worker who also got two littermates and, unfortunately, one started having seizures. The sick kitteh needed MRIs and specialty care. The insurance save my coworker, literally thousands of dollars.
