Pets

Years ago my cat Alice (now RIP) somehow managed to get into a cabinet and smash an entire set of crystal glassware by dislodging the shelf. The set was a wedding gift but I was divorced by then and never used the glasses anyhow, but they were nice and I hated to see them go. Other cats have got into and destroyed other things, shredded furniture, peed on stuff, and generally created chaos but I can't imagine living without them. My current cat, like me, is old, so she's mostly given up acts of destruction as being too much work. Gotta love 'em but oh boy...
