I'm working on ideas for memorial markers for my Guardian Angel fur babies [View all]

Either to put directly over where they are buried, which are now just marked with pavers, or to just put together a memorial garden.

I'm thinking of making individual discs with their name and a photo sealed with acrylic. It's just the base material I'm struggling with. Plaster of Paris would probably be too delicate for outside but concrete just seems so cold.

I'm not a very crafty person but at least I have a basic concept so I'll start googling.
