Our dog Molly-Good-Golly likes to chew the pale green off the rinds, especially with any bit of pink still showing. Do cats do that, too?
I’ve heard about watermelon rind pickles but haven’t ever made them. I might process a small batch this year just for fun. We don’t waste the rinds now, just add them to the compost.
