Poor Gryff had a traumatic afternoon, yesterday [View all]

When I brought Dewi in from the rain I flipped on what I thought was the light in the porch ceiling fan. Nope. It was the fan. That startled Gryff and he bolted behind a heavy piece of furniture. I tried talking softly to sooth him and thought he must have run into the den, so I tended to Dewi. He sat on my lap and we watched 'Dateline' on my laptop.

After Dewi’s mom picked him up, I started looking for Gryff. No sign of him so I checked behind that heavy piece of furniture and he was STILL THERE! For TWO HOURS! I finally convinced him he was OK. Things went back to normal until THUNDER. And he bolts off, again. No sooner does he venture out when, THUNDER. This happened several times.

After the storm finally ended he spent the entire night snuggled up against me. Poor baby.

And tomorrow might just bring more storms.
