When company comes, Andy is in the thick of it, getting scritches, making himself at home on the dining room table. The whole family is “cat people” so this doesn’t freak anyone out.
Charlie hides upstairs on our bed and comes out the minute people leave, meowing and wanting to cuddle with me. The boys are 7 so I think they won’t change.
