And I differed with the vet on what should be prescribed. He wanted to go with Lysodren which, from what I read, had very harsh side effects. I insisted on Anipryl which, from what I read, worked more slowly but was gentler on the dog. So that's what we went with and from what my vet said about his experiences, that was the right decision. The meds may have changed, but that was my experience. Wishing you and your pup the best, I've been there. BTW, my dog was a senior cocker spaniel.
