The milestones are such a big thing. Watching them realize what was in those food bowls, just before they climb in to eat. And, of course, that meant I wouldn't have to get up, every 3 hours, to feed them with an eye dropper. All of them chewed through the rubber nipples on the feeding bottles so I gave up on those.

And I always celebrated the first time I actually found tiny poops in the litter box because there would be no more need to stimulate their little butts.
