9. She wasn't too bad the first time I took her to the vet

A few meows but I kept talking to her.

I didn't put any blanket IN the carrier because I was afraid it would impede me getting her in but I think the blanket over the carrier should keep her warm for the relatively short amount of time she will be in the car. Once I get her checked in, a new type of stress will start for her. I'm going to try not to think about it and just wait for that phone call, this afternoon, saying she's in recovery and doing great.

I'm setting the play pen up for when she comes home. If it's too stressful for her, I'll let her out but I think that for at least the first day it will keep the boys from trying to rough house.
