Our neighbor Grace brought her other mare over. Her name is Pistol.

Maddie and Pete ~
Their first time in the barn together. It's why Laurie built her barn.


They were grazing. Suddenly Maddie raised her head and looked right at me.

She dropped her head, ate some more.

Then looked at me again. As if she knew she was on camera.


Eating dinner.



Shadow likes to harass the horses. We don't like her to. She has a bark collar, which helps. The other mornng she got Pete teed off.


But usually they ignore THAT DOG.
