Getting the third cat might make both the others happier, first because Holly would be left alone after communicating her dislike lol, ut Martini might just enjoy the revitalized energy.

When we added Shadow, I was worried about Petunia as she's fifteen and not interested in additional company but boy was I surprised when she's done the exact opposite.
She now hangs out with Cuddles and Shadow because they chase each other and not her. Now she is comfortable with. Oth in the same space.
What a pleasant surprise that was.
