5. We had snow the night before last, killed the plum blossoms.

They looked okay when I left for work in the morning, but they were pretty wilty when I looked at them again this morning. At least the peach, cherry and apple trees have only just started budding, I don't think they'll have been much affected by this storm. Still, last year we lost everything but one cherry when it went down to 8 degrees on April 29th last year, and then stayed under 15 degrees for a couple more days. Colorado gardening is not for the faint-hearted.

And can I just add... I would kill for a garage to move plants into should it get below freezing!
