21. Spring is on the way to you, too.

I love and admire Turkey Vultures. I even have a painting over the sofa in the living room of what I call "The Three Wise Men"...three Black Vultures (the artist didn't have Turkey Vultures, too bad). And they are so great to use as harbingers of spring because of the unique way that they fly---soaring high enough for me to spot them immediately. Not like the pesky robin, who I have heard singing in the morning all last week but cannot spot him.

Have you got the tomato seedlings ready? Putting them "out" would mean to me "outside", and I couldn't even imagine that this early.
