I can't bring myself to throw them out. That said, we do seem to have a lot of gorgeous sunny days here, despite the snow. And last night when I was taking the trash out, the ice crystals in the snow were glittering like diamonds. Not something we ever saw back in the South!

I do have to laugh when they trot out that poor groundhog every year. Six weeks more of winter is the basically guaranteed at that point no matter what. And yes, that is the ONLY time I have sympathy for a one of those little garden thieves. Plus Punxsutawney Phil is probably domesticated and never ate a seedling tomato plant in his life.
