Lawns sell properties around here. What the next owner decides to do is up to them.

Yuma has water for now (historical water rights). Don't worry, the lawns will be gone soon enough, once developers finish exploiting this place.

I'm on a private well on a good aquifer.

Any advice on mowing lol?
