I hate microwaves and refuse to get one. Crock pot used to be my go-to, but then I got an Instant Pot—and an air fryer lid to work with it. It’s not big enough to fry up anything for a family, but for one or two, it does a bang-up job. I’ve jettisoned the majority of my more specialized kitchen gadgets and for the most part, a big toaster oven and the IP suffice.

Only drawback is that it’s made me lazy—but hey, it’s summer. Lazy works.
