2. With 2 consecutive days of 100+ degree heat, we've had 2 cold suppers in a row.

Chicken salad, potato salad, and coleslaw.

I live in Chester, NY. Apparently we only get a 100 degree day about once in a decade, not 2 days in a row. We also had a near miss the day before, with the temperature exceeding 98 degrees.
All in all, I don't remember a hotter week in New York State in my lifetime of nearly 80 years.
