I haven't thought about food yet.

It's just me up on this chilly rainy morning. I've put the ham leftovers on the stove to make stock. I then watched a Twilight Zone episode and I'm now watching the birds at the feeders. They are mostly House Finches (about half are the colorful males) and an occasional Chickadee or Cardinal.

The ham stock is now simmering and the food motivated canine's nose has woken him and he has circled the area carefully observing that I'm not eating. Now he's gone away but likely dreaming of food.
