(72,126 posts)11. yeah, i wouldnt design a kitchen w/o a dishwasher.
this was the 4th kitchen ive built. its quirky, but the existing kitchen was a lead weight on this apt. 4 br, 2 ba, and the tiniest, darkest kitchen u ever saw. i can now say- the kitchen is too small- in about 4 languages.
knocked out a wall, which added 2 more windows and about 50 sq ft.
i figured a spice collection wd b welcome. i got a bunch of spice mixes from a great local store last xmas. still sealed. theyll shop for most stuff, but the stuff u only think of when u start cooking will b welcome, im sure.

The big deal killer for my wife and I is flimsy uncomfortable Ikea furniture, cheap kitchen knives and no desk

the electrician screwed up and forgot the 3 light fixture over the main counter area.

Air fryer/convection oven is awesome. Didn't think I'd use it, but use it all the time and it is great.
