I was thinking maybe your cousin could not contact you for some reason, which made me think of a 1st cousin once removed whom I found in my research. He is 83 , the only one left of his family, and I had not talked to him for about two months.

I just called and all is well. It is so strange. I never met Eldon, as our family was scattered all over the west, but when I called him we immediately clicked. We have been talking now for about 5 years. He is a staunch Republican, so we argue politics all the time, but with respect & laughter. He is not going to change my mind, nor I his, nor do either of us want to. We just enjoy visiting.
