Heh, if I thought that way, I'd never post! 
On the contrary, I feel that this is the place to do just that. There are folks here who can relate and folks here who are sympathetic.
That is about all one can hope for in this world.
And, don't feel badly about being 'pessimistic'... I am known as a 'cynical cynic'. I expect bad things to happen every second of every day.
What some refuse to accept is that this behavior is from multiple experiences that have combined to show me that I am warranted in believing what I believe. It is not just 'a mindset'. I expect you can definitely relate to this.
The world is a beautiful place... now, if we can just do something about some of the inhabitants!
