I haven't found Tylenol to help as much as Advil or Excedrin (aspirin plus caffeine plus Tylenol) or some other formulation of aspirin and caffeine for headaches or muscle type pain. I know some people swear by Tylenol, and it is easier on the stomach lining.

For severe headache lasting more than a day, if I can get my hands on one of the migraine drugs from the Triptan family of drugs, I'll try that after a certain point, combined with one of the medications I just mentioned. Sometimes, even if the headache is not a migraine it still seems to help, which I guess means the headache might actually be a migraine disguised as some other kind of headache, like a weather related headache (falling barometer) or cervicogenic headache.

Gosh, I hope you get some relief!
