I read a story, elsewhere, about a family who has a member drink a bottle at a holiday gathering [View all]

The very drunk parent, weeping and wailing about worthlessness was restrained by at least 2 adult sons from driving off.

30 minutes on, I am still shaking deep in my feelings.

Things I am grateful for today.
Running water, flush toilets, heat, electricity, internet, coffee, stuff for my cats, a safe living space.
And I never woke up handcuffed to a stretcher in the ER.
