5. I've had A-fib for about 6 years now.

The electro treatment worked for me for about two years, but I then relapsed. The cardiologist and I have considered repeating but feel that it would probably be another temporary fix. I'm looking into ablation surgery but medicine (currently Atenolol and Xarelto) seem to keep it under pretty good control.

For myself, I wouldn't be concerned about going to the mountains, but your body isn't the same as mine. I'd say to check with hour cardiologist if you're concerned.
