Trmp appointed RFKJ because he reveled in the irony of getting a "Dem"* to do the GOP's dirty work -- while tarnishing the Kennedy name/legacy.

*DINO. RFKJ is beyond any party now; he's like that woman (another Trmp choice) who claimed she heard "voices in the wind" giving her legal/political advice.
