22. Just had my left eye done. Very professional crew.

Yesterday

One advice is not to drink any water after whatever hour they tell you. And I wore Depends just in case. Once you're on the gurney hooked up to monitors you don't want to have to get up. Another advisory was to not shake your head in response to anything they tell you. The habit of shaking my head "yes" or "no" was weaned out of me by the nurse. You don't want the doctor to be doing something and you shake your head. A little bit of Versed in a hand IV and topical anesthetics in the eye. Very easy procedure. Wear a blouse that buttons up the front so they put monitors on your chest. One day post-op visit tomorrow to see how things are going.
