2. Same here. I'm Normally healthy and got Covid two mounts ago. Like you, I thought I was gonna die..

I lost about 10 lbs b/c I could not eat. Lasted about a week. After about a week I went into the walk in clinic and they gave me prednisone.. Ahh no thanks.
.Again like you I had brain fog, loss of taste and smell. After two months I still feel wonky at times. Yesterday I felt like my brain was spongey like being stoned but not high...I still cant eat some things and I can't drink any wine..Tastes like wet cardboard.. Beer is ok.
I use to work in hospitals and was around sick people all the time. Many with the flu and I very rarely got the flu. If I did it was a mild case. I guess when you are 75+ things are a bit different..
Yes I got the updated Covid shot. For me it was like the same symptoms of Covid but for one day and then went away
