I've never seen it as bad as this. The world for my nieces growing up will be horrible. I am so sorry. There were millions of us who tried desperately to raise the alarm as we saw the changes coming -- only to be told, basically, sit down and shut up. The crisis was not a crisis and it wasn't going anywhere fast... it could wait until higher priorities could be dealt with. Meanwhile, we KNEW where it would end and how it would go... and still do... and still no one listens to us. Is it any wonder Cassandra was female?
