I don't know if you're familiar with the show, but so far, what's happened is, Sheldon's very dopey and irresponsible 17 year old brother, Georgie, got Mandy, a woman in her late 20s, pregnant. (He lied to her about his age, and she somehow never noticed how young he looks or how immature he is. ) They barely knew each other, it was just supposed to be a casual fling, and I am not clear on why they evidently didn't bother to use any protection. So the whole thing was a huge cluster fuck from the get go.

On the last episode, Georgie told his father, George, who then told his wife, Mary (Georgie's very religious mother), and they invited the young woman over to get acquainted. So far, everybody acts like OF COURSE she's going to have the baby, like that's not even in question.

The part that gagged me the most was that as soon as Georgie's mom found out, she was all, "They haaaave to get married!" (Like nobody else even gets a vote? Hello!) Dad (rightly) thought that was a terrible idea, and they argued.
