Assad is/was a bad guy and I won’t lose any sleep over him, but I don’t know enough about the rebels to think they’ll be an improvement.

It’ll be interesting to see what the Biden administration does, and what the incoming administration does as well.

Don’t forget, please, that we have troops in Syria. I hope this doesn’t put them at greater risk.
