1. It's not the slowness of the buses that I hate, it's the sardine-can crowdedness of them.

That's the number one reason why I avoid Muni whenever possible. I would probably get around a lot more, and maybe even consider living in a different neighborhood, if I didn't have to compress myself into the bus.
