Yesterday

An “American Football” field is 57,600 square feet. (360 feet long, 160 feed wide.) Their estimate is that it takes 20,000 tires to pad that area. — That’s about ⅓ of a tire to pad a square foot…

But, we’re talking about Canada, where the fields are larger: 87,750 square feet. Cover that with crumb rubber. Less than ¼ a tire per square foot.
