...degraded form of energy. The fossil fuel industries' efforts to greenwash themselves by claiming that filthy hydrogen is "green" is dishonest in the extreme.
On this planet, very little hydrogen is made - a trivial amount - by electrolysis, and that which is so made depends on electricity overwhelmingly produced using the combustion of dangerous fossil fuels and the dumping of the waste directly into the planetary atmosphere where it is killing it.

I referred to this graphic, and reproduced it, discussing a paper in the journal I discussed above here: The current sources and uses of hydrogen.
Happily the in the long history of hydrogen bullshit, now having extended over a period of half a century, has failed to make this scam viable, although the bullshit has never stopped, waned from time to time, but never stopped.
