This is an American Ford F150 the article is talking about. I'm not sure that will have the lifespan of the typical Toyota, or Honda, which have the highest percent of cars making it in the hundreds of thousands of miles. Maybe Ford's trucks are better than their cars, but many Fords have their catalytic converters fail soon after their warranty ends.
