1. There is a school of thought that the Fed will raise rates fast to get it over with

and that markets have been pricing in this event for 2 months. Bonds went south in December, now stocks follow, but, looking at the long tail on yesterdays trading candlestick, that the downside is already priced in and therefore it's up we go very soon from here, perhaps as early as Feb 1, or by late March. Just a thought I read somewhere.
