That means enabling renovations with money - loans - to homebuyers, owners, even small speculators.

The old houses were built better, with old growth timber, not with forest farms and glue.

It takes money to pay attention to details to build or renovate.

Someday McMansions will sliced and diced into multi-occupant condos ... re-roofing must be like a mortgage. The costs of ownership too high as one-family units.
