1. No one shutters their business to save money

They just spend more to keep going and make the financial fit a future hurdle. Must be said the public doesn't do without much either. They have credit cards, or stop paying the mortgage and car payment for a bit. For those reasons I wonder if a true boycott or consumer downturn could even happen today. It seems marginal most of the time.
