Buying gold now (GLDM).

Mkt down 10% and my new expectation is it will fall another 12% or more once oil is repriced.

Am hearing people say this Iran war is no different than the Ukraine war or the June Iran war. eg. That it will not affect US markets longer term and therefore will snap back quickly when US announces "Mission Accomplished" or, "Armageddon Accomplished" . Others saying the US has enough oil production to meet our internal demand but the market doesn't work that way. Still others saying that Venezuela was grabbed because they have 20% of the world's supply and that is almost exactly equal to the amount which would flow through Hormuz. Regardless, there is a disconnect with reality and pain will come before any real solutions will be pursued.

I hope I am wrong but gold and T-bills for now.
