Seriously, it locks the country and the world into its horrid health care model forever. Also the parts the insurance companies don't like (guaranteed issue, community rating), may be shot down when it is challenged in an international trade context, also it will lead to the globalization of health care provision and subsequently other service sectors at great cost to working Americans wages.
