1) Microsoft drove Office 365 to reduce piracy and make more money
2) If you've needed access to work docs there have always been ways to do it (hell, everyone at my company has a laptop...)
3) There are loads of other collaboration tools other than Office 365
4) Microsoft is about making money... not about trying to make YOU work more... they just want you to buy their shit.
