How do I make certain the gif or pic I am copy pasting is safe? [View all]

I know about the lock, I know about the https vs http, but whenever I google a pic and I click on it I often get warnings from malwarebytes etc. Most of the time I dont, but I also know from past mistakes that I can be risking something.

Other than not doing it, what is the best way to do this?

Thanks!
