Where is the best place to research remote backup services for home computers? [View all]

I've used what is now called "Remote Data Backups" for many years, but recently I discovered that my backups had been failing since November. I'm used to really good support. An actual human converses with me on line. Haven't needed support but two or three times. This time they weren't able to solve the problem and installed what appears to be a totally remote method of backing up. There is no size limit and it backs up every 15 minutes. BUT there is no way to look at your backup set. You add folders and files to it by right mousing on them and choosing "Add to backup" or "Remove from Backup". But those two options never change. So there's no way to know whether a folder or file is actually in the backup set.

I just was conversing with the support person and they said "there is no way to look at what is in the backup set except to do a restore. Do you want me to show you how?"

It looks like I've got the alpha version of a new cloud based release.

I've got to find an alternative. Where can I go to look for options?

DU is so great! It's just full of smart people. I'm counting on you!

TIA
