Looking for advice on purchasing a new laptop [View all]

My Dell laptop is 11 years old and while it still does all I need it to, I think it's about time to buy a new one.

I don't play games or listen to music on mine and bookwork is minimal. Mostly I use it to cruise the internet, shop and pay bills on line.
The old Dell has a 17" display which I like and I don't want to go much smaller. Maybe 15" would be the lower limit.
