ahen i got my first computer it was a 286 and had 2 floppy drive slots. one for the os and the other for the app. if wanted to store , the app disk had to be removed . then i got my first hd. 10 mb seagate open fraime that kept crashing. i learned the value of memory and disk management that way. my latest mac has a sd slot in it and i would use it to transfer pictures from my camera.
