Will be a little slot for a storage card. SD stands for secure digital.

They come in a few physical sizes - your tablet probably needs a micro SD card but there are also nano cards. They usually come with an adapter to suit various devices.

This works like a tiny additional drive. Your tablet may have a limit on the size of the HD card it can accept: 16, 32, 64 gb. You'll need to look up the manual for this info.
