7. Just be careful

One of the Windows 10 feature updates bricked an old laptop. I wound up doing a clean re-install of Windows, which finally solved the problem.

The advice is: back-up your data files like docs, pix, music, videos etc. Hopefully, all should be fine. However, Microsoft needs to make hassle-free updates, and that's not always the case.
